Project of System Development Software-Management and Practices Class

Self-website design

A personal website that introduces the singers I love

In the class of System Development Software-Management and Practices, we learned how to use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to design website.

I combined the skill I learned in the semester and the singers I love to design my personal website. This was the first projects that I designed and developed alone. I was extremely excited about it and hoped that the person who visited my website can also understand my passion for those singers.

Timeline

2015/2 ~2015/6

Outcome

After the user pushes the button, the question mark will randomly turn into a country which picks from the six countries below.

The User can set up an event and choose a background in the setting area, then the page will start counts down how many times you have until the event.

The background will change every five seconds and the signs they take to show you the time right now

Insert a video on the website which only plays the part I want to show.

Using CSS3 animation effects, the person on the right will keep jumping, the picture in the middle will grow when mouse move to it, and the bicolor circle on the upper left corner will keep rotating.

We also learned to make some game such as the flappy ball game which won’t stop unless you let the ball fall down and the RPG game which will show the status of the gamer under the map.

Reflection

This is one of the most interesting classes in our department. I learned various skills which can both increase user interaction and interest. Because of the lack of time, I couldn’t mix the game with my subject. I think it will be more attractive if I combine the singer's life stage, difficulties, and glory as the theme to design the game.
